The Relational Literacy Intensive
Relational Literacy Intensive
A private four-pillar curriculum: Emotion. Sex & Pleasure. Boundaries. Communication.
For individuals, partners, or a self-selected small group cohort.
-
This foundational session is not about emotional intelligence. It is about the intelligence of emotion—emotion as a source of knowing, not a problem to manage. Everything else builds from here.
The experiential focus is on developing fluency in your unique emotional landscape—translating what the body feels to what the mind can understand and communicate.
-
Eroticism is the creative drive from which sex and pleasure both derive. Depending on your preference and goals, this session can go one of two directions:
Pleasure and erotic empowerment—understanding what genuinely turns you on, lights you up, and enlivens you—within and beyond sex.
The psychology of sex and arousal—how you were shaped by early and formative experiences, how arousal and desire actually work, and practices to shift how you approach and experience sex.
-
This session reframes what we think boundaries are: from limits-only to the infrastructure of intimacy.
Through somatic and partnered practice we work with the specific blocks: the difficulty of saying no; the vulnerability of expressing authentic needs and desires; the guilt of honoring your actual bandwidth in a culture that demands you overextend. Capacity builds the way any muscle does—through practice and repetition, until ease replaces effort.
-
Most intimate conversations aren't rational—they're emotional. And poorly executed.
The Rules of Engagement is a framework for emotion-centered communication. Developed over fifteen years of practice, it is a structure designed to help us move through conflict, repair after rupture, and create safety for authentic expression. This is the most practice-based session of the four: structured exercises in real time, with feedback, building the specific skills that make hard conversations generative rather than destructive.
